Pengaruh Program Latihan Periode Persiapan Terhadap Fungsi Hati Atlet Kontingen Bayangan PON XVIII 2012 KONI Sulawesi Selatan

Abstract

The research aimed at studying the physical training impact on the liver function in terms of the imfact of the preparation period training program towards the liver function of PON XVIII 2012 estimated contingent athletes of KONI South Sulawesi. The research was carried out on as many as 53 subjects, 16 – 33 years old. The measurement of GPT (glutamic pyruvic transaminase) value was conducted on the subjects before and after attending the preparation period training program of PON XVIII 2012. This was an observational research with prospective study design. The research only evaluated the liver function change with the physical training program for 3 (three) months. The data obtained were analysed by Wilcoxon’s test. The research result indicates that there is the liver function difference of PON XVIII 2012 estimated contingent athletes of KONI South Sulawesi before and after attending the preparation period training program. However, Wilcoxon’s test ρ = 0,199 (ρ > 0,05) indicates that there is no significant imfact of the preparation period training program on the liver function change of the estimated contingent athletes of PON XVIII-2012 KONI Sulawesi Selatan XVIII 2012 of KONI South Sulawesi. The research result proves that the preparation period training program attended by the estimated contingent athletes of PON XVIII 2012 of KONI South Sulawesi imfluences the athletes liver function marked by the improvement of GPT value, but it is still in the natural limit. Therefore, it can be concluded that the preparation period training program on the estimated contingent athletes of PON XVIII 2012 wich is arranged by the coaches of KONI South Sulawesi applies the proper physical training principles.
