Abstract: This study aims to analyze the role of Civics teachers in developing students' social intelligence at MTs DDI Ma'had Pangkajenne, Sidrap Regency. The focus of the study includes: (1) the role of Civics teachers in developing students' social intelligence, (2) the impact of the role of Civics teachers on the development of students' social intelligence, and (3) factors that influence the role of Civics teachers in developing social intelligence. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. Data were obtained through in- depth interviews, observations, and documentation, involving Civics teachers, students, and the school as research informants. The results show that Civics teachers act as role models, facilitators, motivators, value guides, and evaluators in learning. As a result, students become more able to work together, show empathy, communicate assertively, improve prosocial behavior, and are ready to participate in a wider social environment. Factors that influence the role of teachers include pedagogical competence, school environmental support, student characteristics, the influence of social media, and the availability of supporting facilities and activities. This finding confirms that the role of civics teachers is very strategic in internalizing social values and shaping students' social intelligence through a combination of role models, facilitating interactions, and continuous evaluation.
